National Handloom Day

” Our weavings in the cosmic web are not self-contained. Rather, they are part of the design of our collective humanity. ”
Every year on the 7th of August, India commemorates National Handloom Day 🪡🪡🧶🧵. It is observed in order to raise awareness about the economic importance of the textile sector.
Grade 8 learners of Manaskriti School, Faridabad presented a mesmerizing assembly celebrating the work of Indian Weavers – paying gratitude to Bharat K Bunkar 🧶🧵with vibrant displays of silk sarees ,inspiring talks, and engaging activities showing ring test 💍for pure silk. Our honorable Principal mam inspired all and reminded us of Swadeshi movement related to textile industry and encouraged the use of Swadeshi products, being #VocalForLocal

Students learned about the artistry of handwoven textiles and the importance of preserving our cultural heritage.

Let’s continue to support and appreciate the skilled artisans who create these beautiful fabrics. 🌟 #HandloomDay #CulturalHeritage
