Pitara 5.0

Manaskriti School, Greater Faridabad held its annual event Pitara 5.0 on Saturday, 2nd
December, 2023 at its premises.
The event is an annual literature festival held to promote the habit of reading among the students. Preparations were made to organise a fancy dress competition, a story
telling session with an expert story-teller, a book fair, and fun activities like pottery and clay moulding, dance and music, and doodling art.
Parents and students thronged to the fair, and immersed themselves in the stories narrated by Ms Seema Wahi. She transported them to a fantasy world of animals and
inculcated the messages of love, caring, tolerance, respect, and compassion for one another.
This was followed by a fancy dress competition for students ranging from 2- 7 years.
They all turned up in a variety of costumes based on story characters and walked the ramp confidently, speaking about the character they were portraying. Some participants
even twinned with their parent. It was a great pleasure to watch the little bears, tigers, fairies, Jasmine, Little Red Riding Hood, Alladin, Minnie Mouse, Harry Potter etc.
Environmentalist and social worker Ms Nalini Sharma, and Principals of play-schools Ms Anjali and Ms Payal were invited to be the judges.
The book fair was a huge attraction for the crowds and the students thronged to it to buy books. The food court in the sunny open area provided the parents an excellent
opportunity to sip some coffee and munch on some goodies in peace while the children played happily on the swings.
There were areas allocated in the premises for the students to spread themselves out and enjoy pottery, doodling and dancing!!!
