YelloHippo Birthday Celebration

Happy Birthday to you, YelloHippo!!!

The students of Pre-Nursery and Nursery celebrated YelloHippo’s birthday at school. YelloHippo is our friendly little cartoon character, who stays at Manaskriti School and entertains the little ones with his stories and playing materials. The parents were invited to attend the fun session. The venue was decorated with eco-friendly buntings, lanterns, and all sorts of hangings. All of these lent a vibrant atmosphere to the Anmol Wing, The session was not limited to cake-cutting and dancing. It also included a story-telling session by an expert, Ms Swetcha Pershad. She narrated the story through an interactive session with the parents and students, bringing the characters alive with on-the-spot enactment. This was followed by razzmatazz dances, a magic show, tattoo making and a takeaway craft of a hippopotamus. Refreshments were served at the end of the party. A selfie frame was also made by the teachers to complete the party effect.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ma’am Mrs Jyoti Bhalla stressed upon the need for such informal get-togethers to enable us to informally chat and bond better with one another. Story-telling sessions also encourage the students to tickle their imagination, arouse their curiosity, and build communication skills. The event, a highly successful one, is not to be forgotten till long.
